LGG (re)Connect: a look back at our Cargo Community event

08.10.2026
Liege Airport

Shippers, forwarders, handlers, airlines, road carriers and institutions came together to share their projects and ambitions for a more efficient, innovative and sustainable cargo platform.

Liege Airport Cargo Community: Stronger Together

On 8th of October, we brought together the actors of the Liege Airport cargo ecosystem around one shared topic: the Liege Airport Cargo Community. The aim was to give everyone who contributes to the airport’s cargo activity a clear view of what is happening across the platform, and a space to exchange and look ahead together.

Clusters and ongoing projects

Each cluster of the community presented its role, its current priorities and the challenges it is working on. This gave participants a better understanding of how the different activities interact and depend on each other.

The session continued with an overview of the projects currently underway at the airport, and how they help make the platform more efficient, more innovative and more sustainable.

Strength in unity

Shippers, forwarders, handlers, airlines, road carriers and institutions: each holds a piece of the puzzle. One message came through clearly during the event: the future of Liege Airport as a cargo hub depends on collaboration.

By sharing our experiences, ideas and ambitions, we can improve efficiency across the entire logistics chain, accelerate innovation and build a more sustainable platform. Alone, we go faster. Together, we go further.
